Employment Opportunities

Christopher Aaron Counseling Center supports individuals in finding their authentic selves and assists them in facing life traumas through individual, group and family work. We seek staff with the same commitment of enriching the lives of those whom we provide services. We have openings for positions in the Lewiston-Auburn, Gray-New Gloucester, Raymond, Windham, and surrounding areas. Please note: Both Clinicians and Behavioral Health Professionals positions are a per diem model. A Current driver's license and proof of car insurance are required.  Background checks will also run before a job offer is extended.

Behavior Health Professional:

Behavioral Health Professionals (BHP), work as part of a treatment team. They implement individualized plans under the guidance of a licensed clinician for children and families in both their home and community. BHPs assist children in obtaining new skills to improve their relationships in the family and learn positive coping strategies. Bachelorï¿¿s Degree in Social Services, Human Services, Psychology, Education or related field is required. Preference will be given to BHP certified candidates. Behavioral Health Professionals (BHP), work as part of a treatment team. They implement individualized plans under the guidance of a licensed clinician for children and families in both their home and community.

Clinician:

Require valid license in field of practice - Licensed Physician, Psychiatrist, LCPC, LCPC Conditional, LCSW or LMSW Conditional. You must be in good standing with professional license board. Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunctions. Services will be provided for a child in their home or community setting. Primary focus on their behavior management, increased skill development and physical developmental activities. Services provided to include: consultation, clinical assessment and evaluations. Services for adults will be provided either in their home or in the CACC offices.

Targeted Case Manager:

Required: Bachelor’s Degree in related field: Social Services, Human Services, Health or Education.

 

1. To provide information, support and/or intervention, whenever possible and clinically appropriate to the

members and families to ensure continuity and consistency of treatment in a timely manner.

2. Remain aware of resources available to meet the clients’ needs and link client to services as needed.

Assist client with community integration by participating in team meetings.
3. Assess client needs and create treatment plan and update as needed.
Maintain appropriate documentation of all services provided.
4. Act as an ambassador for CACC with professional conduct in a positive manner within the community.
Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships; develop constructive and cooperative working
relationships with others and maintain them.
