Who We Are

We are strengths based agency committed to the knowledge that everyone is the expert in their own lives. We see our charge as assisting individuals to find greater access to their own internal sense of resiliency and to build a stronger sense of belief in themselves. Our clinicians specialize in Anxiety and Depression issues, Agoraphobia, Domestic Violence/Intimate Partner Abuse, Eating Disorders, Gender and Sexual Identity Issues, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

History of Christopher Aaron Counseling Center

Lawrence N (Lonnie) Leeman LCSW founded Christopher Aaron Counseling Center LLC in Spring of 2005.

Lonnie had worked the field of mental health for over twelve years at that point. He had founded or developed programs for various not for profit and for profit agencies throughout the state of Maine. The inspiration and driving force behind the work that Lonnie had done to date (and aspired to in the future) was his nephew Christopher Aaron.
