Laurie Sivonen

Laurie spent the first 13 years of her career as a teacher. She taught third graders through adult education, in regular education classes, special education and alternative education programs. For many years she ran her own business teaching guided meditation and relaxation techniques, and providing spiritual counseling, and the Myers Briggs Type Indicator. Laurie graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington with a B.S. in education and a focus on special education. More recently she graduated from the University of Southern Maine with her Masters in Social Work. Prior to working for Christopher Aaron Counseling Center she was the clinical coordinator for a therapeutic group home.
